Today I recognized, that is not longer possible to save events. By clicking on the save button nothing happened. A friend of mine has the same problem with his website and the plugin nearly at the same time. So it looks like to be a bug.

Please check and fix it fast. Thank you.

    Best,

    Ralf

This is not the first time this plugin has had bugs with updates. Seriously considering finding another event plugin

Also thinking of looking for a new plugin, as I already had to restore from a backup when the updated version would crash my site.

Came here to look if I’m the only one with that problem … I can post NEW events but I cannot save any changes. So it must be correct at my first try (it never is).

Same here. Unable to save events when using Firefox Dev Edition 108.0b4 (64-bit). I am able to save events using Chrome Version 107.0.5304.110 (Official Build) (x86_64). Hope that helps.

Hi everyone! Sorry to hear about this. I wasn’t able to replicate the issue here with the latest version v6.0.4. I suspect that it has something to do with the theme, it would be good if you could provide me with the following:

    1. PHP
    2. WordPress
    3. Theme and Version

    Again apologies for the inconvenience.

    Best,
    Abz

@abzlevelup Hi, I think this is more browser related. Works fine in Chrome (for me), but does not work in Firefox Dev Edition. This is the same case on two different websites, with different hosts. Both sites WP v6.1.1. Both PHP 7.4.33. One has MySQL 8.0.31 & the other MySQL 5.7.40

My client is having the same issue. Latest WordPress version and The Events plugin version.

    Theme: Avada 7.8.2
    WP: 6.1.1
    PHP: 8.0
Browser: unknown (will fill once known)

Latest version of everything. Customify Theme. This started with the last update of the calendar plugin.
I agree with what was said by wpdv above. Didn’t think to try a different browser and yes it seems to be ok with chrome but not firefox.

Same here. It seems to be an issue in Safari as well. It works in Chrome.
In Safari I cannot save an event after editing.

Yep, confirmed, Safari + Firefox are having saving issues currently.
