Accessibility for visual impairment

Generally that will depend on the theme used. There aren’t that many that would be ok straight away, and some would need some minor tweaks. But ideally you’d get a few visually impaired users to provide feedback, as their insights would be better than anyone elses.

WordPress itself is just about ok accessibility wise (always room for improvement).

Though https://quirm.net isn’t too bad.

One of my specialist skills is accessible web design and I have very few problems creating AA+ sites with WordPress.

https://accessites.org uses WP – as do quite a few of the sites that it showcases.

Over recent years I’ve set up several sites for people with disabilities, the last for someone visually impaired, two years ago. At the time I found
the Odiogo plugin great, as it converts posts to audio MP3 Sadly I have no idea if the plugin has been maintained up to WordPress 3.00
