5.1.4 breaks WooCommerce

    Hi there,

    Upon upgrading to 5.1.4 on a wordpress site there are two breaking problems:
    1) on product archive pages, when I click on “add product to cart”, the loader stays in the box indefinitely.
    If I go to the cart, the product appears to have been added.

    2) on checkout page on the right side, which includes summary, selection of payment/delivery method, the loader appears upon load of the page and stays there indefinitely

    -> if I disable shortpixel, everything works properly
    -> if I downgrade to 5.1.3, everything works properly

    Environment:
    Latest WP & WC, generatepress theme
    PHP 8.0
    Latest OpenLiteSpeed

    I get no PHP or console error whatsoever to help you investigate further

  • I have the same problem with PHP 7.4 using Elementor and Shoptimizer Theme.

    To make it more complex, on another WC I host on the same environment, 5.1.4 works properly, so the problem does not happen on all WCs

    I just checked this on a test site and from my side everything works well. In order to better assist you, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with the following information:
    – Some screenshots showing the issue would be helpful, including relevant links, but a screen recording is always better.
    – Your domain.
    – Your site information. For this, please go to Tools > Site Health > Info, click on the “Copy site info to clipboard” button and paste the information here.
    – Screenshots of your ShortPixel plugin(s) settings (ShortPixel Image Optimizer, ShortPixel Adaptive Images and/or Autoptimize).
    – Finally, is the issue occurring in more than one web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.)?

    I’ve had problems since the update, too.

    Revolution Slider is no longer displayed (no longer works, only white image) and embedded images from the DWD are also no longer displayed.

    WP 6.1.1
    PHP 8.1.7

    hello and apologies for this, it didn’t surface in our testing.

    Can you please test with this version (ideally on a dev/staging environment) and let us know if it resolves the issues? You can install it via Plugins -> Add New -> Upload, on top of the existing version:
