• Hi,

I want to increase the default width from 1000px to 1200px or even 1400px. Is that possible in Twenty Twenty-Two and how?

    Regards

  • Hi @loek11

You can adjust your templates to display content to the width of your choice. Kindly go to Appearance > Editor.

    Once there,

    1. Click on the post content block
    2. Toggle on the option Inner blocks use content width under the Layout section
    3. You will then see the option to add a custom width for your content

As shown in this screenshot You can read more about this here:
    https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/post-content-block/#block-settings

Also, remember to always make sure your blocks are set to full width when you add them.

Another question. What is the difference between content and wide?

    Hey @loek11

What is the difference between content and wide?

Do you know how blocks can have three basic widths?:

    Screen Shot on 2022 12 02 at 17 19 39

    – None (Regular)
    – Wide
    – Full

“None” menas that the block will limit itself to the “Content” width of the page. “Wide” be the… ehrm, “wider” option. And “Full”… will use up all the available width.

Would this make sense? Were you referring to this?
