Crashes my site with the user I created for this plugin

It’s 99% likely that you’ve posted this on the wrong plugin.

There is no feature in PublishPress Capabilities that allows users to only edit certain pages. This plugin doesn’t enable you give permissions to edit a particular page.

No It’s Publish Press Capabilities. I made a “editor” user and named them the author of the page. When I sign in under that page and click edit page, the site crashes.

There’s definitely some confusion here. By default, an “Editor” user can always edit every page. They don’t need to be named the author.

What was the error message?

@macstevenw2013 That tutorial is from June 2017 and is definitely a long way out-of-date.

Are the features in the video for the pro version, because my view of the plugin doesn’t look like that. It doesn’t have “Copy Role”
