I don’t know who works on developing these features, but they need to be fired ASAP. Are they even engineers? Each update kills the performance and adds useless features that just worsen the experience and navigation. Seems like every update is meant to destroy WordPress. It just lure beginners with cool visuals and nice-looking page builders, but the reality is just everything sucks.

That’s easy: people around the world who volunteer their precious time to build this free and open-source software… for the rest of us to use for free ??

They’re paid to do this work is not like they’re doing charity. And their precious time breaks a lot of sites with each update and destroys the performances.

The WordPress software itself is 100% open-source, and no one is paid to do anything. Read about https://www.ads-software.com/about/

That’s not to say WordPress is perfect or that non-paid volunteers can not or should not produce quality work. But making such inflammatory statements is not helpful and does not lead to the kind of quality work that you desire.

If you have a specific problem with the WordPress software itself, please describe your problem clearly so we can help you.

And if you have a problem with a specific 3rd-party theme or plugin you installed, please reach out to the author of that particular addon for help. If you don’t know how to reach the author, simply mention the name of the theme or plugin here, and we’ll surely let you know where to go for help.

    Standing by to help.

    Good luck!

I would love to see WordPress go back to the days when it was ALL about performance power, not xyz features x 1000. With every update, I feel as if WP is getting heavier and heavier, more complex, etc. Reminds me of the route vBulletin went with their forum software. Don’t get me wrong though, I love WordPress. LOVE it!
