• Hello Twenty Twenty-Three community,

very sweet theme. Congrats? The editor is a game changer for new starters.

    Two questions from my end:
    1. when I create the website with the editor (beta) I cannot see the result under ‘Pages’ –> Are web-sites created by the editor only visible in the editor? I had an old Home page under ‘Pages’ that I deleted and all of it’s sudden also the page created by the editor was gone. Recovering the old page ‘Home’ did not recover the page created by the editor. Which brings me to my second question ??
    2. How can I backup pages created with the editor (beta)?

Thanks for your support, highly appreciated,

  • Hi @huebsch

When you go to Appearance > Editor you will be working on templates for your pages, these are not actual pages.

The template allows you to customize how content will be displayed on the page you assign it to. Please feel free to read the guide below for more information about templates and how to assign them to pages or posts:

    Template Editor

    I hope that helps

Hi @huebsch – just checking in to see if you still need any help with this, or did you get it sorted?

Just to be clear, the default Page template is automatically assigned to your static pages, but you still need to create your pages under Pages > Add New.

How can I backup pages created with the editor (beta)?

Again, you wouldn’t be creating pages in the Site Editor, just templates. Your templates could be backed up by exporting them using the Create Block Theme plugin.

Please let me know if you’re set or if you still need a hand with something.
