    Hi There

Thanks for this plugin – I very much appreciate it.

Like a few others, since the 3.8.0 update I have had problems with the elementor editor. It loads fine, but the editor panel (not the properties panel) simply shows grey boxes. I can select the boxes and even edit the widgets, but I do not get any visual editor – I can only use the left panel.

I have tried version 4.9.38, .39 and .40 with and without the suggested add_filter edit (from other support topics) to the functions.php file of my child theme and nothing seems to work.

I can use safe mode on the elementor editor and it loads, or deactivate this plugin and it loads (but then I can’t edit my modal popups, of course).

Any idea on a possible fix?

    Cheers

    Hi @markisparki

We are so sorry for any inconvenience you are having.

May I ask did you try to deactivate Premium Addons and see if the issue exists?

Thanks for getting back to me.

I am not sure what you mean? I have already said that if I deactivate this plug-in then the editor loads fine.

I can use safe mode on the elementor editor and it loads, or deactivate this plugin and it loads (but then I can’t edit my modal popups, of course).

Please advise if you need me to do something else in case I am misunderstanding you, for which I apologize in advance! ??

    Hi @markisparki

I’m so sorry for the misunderstanding. Please accept my apology.

Could you please share a screenshot of your server config? You can find this on your WP Dashboard -> Premium Addons -> System Info tab.

Also, may I ask are you using Display Conditions feature from Premium Addons on your page?

    Regards,
    John

Hello again – thank you for responding…it is very much appreciated.

Here is the screenshot you requested.

No, we don’t use Display Conditions, only your excellent Modal Popup – it is fundamental to so much of our site.

Looking forward to a fix in due course…

    Cheers – Mark

    Hi Mark,

Well, I believe those specs should be enough to run Premium Addons. I suspect there is a conflict between Premium Addons and one of the installed plugins.

So, could you please run the editor page, hit ctrl + shift + c on your keyboard, then navigate to Console tab and share a screenshot? We need to check if there are any console errors coming from one of the installed plugins.

    Regards

    Hi There

Sorry for the delay in responding, but there was too much for a screenshot. I have saved the console output both from Chrome and from Edge when loading the editor page and there are around 40-50 errors, which if I disable the plugin allows the editor to load quickly and normally without them being present.

You can jump to the errors by searching for ‘Uncaught’ or ‘error’ – but you probably now to navigate these logs better than me!

I put links to the 2 text file exports below.

    Chrome console log
    Edge console log

Thanks for your help in this – I really appreciate it.

    Cheers

    Mark

    Hi @markisparki

I have checked the screenshots showing the console errors, but I believe none of the errors are related to Premium Addons. May I ask do you see the errors when you deactivate the plugin?

Our devs team would be more than glad to check this further as I believe it can happen due to a conflict with one of the installed plugins. So, could you please send us a message on our website so we can check and update this topic with the solution?

    Regards

All done. I have created a ticket on your website: #414243

But to answer the questions you asked here – the errors immediately disappear once I deactivate your plugin (and leave all the other plugins alone).

I also note that the grey boxes only appear after a modal popup widget from your plugin. Other Premium Addon widgets do not seem to cause the error.

I look forward to hearing from you on the ticket you have asked me to open, or here, as you choose.

    Thanks again…

Thanks so much @markisparki, I can see the team is following up with you and we will update this topic with the solution once the team fixes the issue for you.
