• A friend of mine was having trouble finding the “publish” button and realized it only showed up in a two-column layout for some reason. I tried to replicate the problem by switching to a one-column layout and she was right…it’s not there. Now, I’ve gone back to a 2-column layout and none of my second column boxes are showing up even though space has been made for them in the column. Now I don’t have a publish button! ??

Anyone else having this problem? I tried logging out and logging back in and even though I’m in 2-column mode, none of that column is showing up.

  • it could help if you would post the name of the theme you are having the trouble with.

We are both using different themes. I’m using Thesis 1.7. She doesn’t seem to be having the same issue switching between 1 column and 2 column and I realized the publish button was buried in the 1-column layout (I never use 1-column).

So the only remaining issue here is that I can’t switch back to 2-column and still have access to everything.

    Issue occurs in wp-admin/post-new.php

I’m still in 2-column mode in wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=page and have no intention of trying to replicate it there for fear of the same issue occurring.
