How to Configure Featured Posts in Free WP Theme?,

  • Hi, I have downloaded a theme (DigitalBlue) that has “featured posts” but the portion of “featured posts” is blank after installing the theme, and there is no option in my WP Dashboard for configuring the “featured posts”, anyone who is familiar with WP, can u guide me? There is no instruction on download site also…thanks.

    I guessing it may be on the post edit screen.

    In the Publish box, look for Visibility and click the edit link. then tick the Stick this post to the front page box.

    That might not be how it works for that theme, but worth trying.

    Hi, thanks for your reply. I can’t see any visibility in publish box…btw, I am using self hosted WP.

    Anyway, I added is_featured in “Custom Field” in edit post page, the post can show up in the Featured Posts now with Title & excerpts but No image, I have images in every post…so, now my problem has reduced to one only that is – any idea how to put post image in Featured posts? Thanks.

    that will depend on the theme. Have you considered adding thumbnail (featured image) support?
