Posts Slider not showing

Hi guys! I’d really appreciate your help on this.

I downloaded the plugin, set the parameters for the slider and published it. Then I took the shortcode and placed it in the edit page section.

I want to show my latest posts at the bottom of my home before the footer, but I’ve tried in all other places and fails to show every time.

Could that be because the posts dont have a featured image? Is it possible to show posts only by its title and a short preview?
