Photo Gallery only showing code – no images

    I have Photo Gallery Version 2.3.9 | By WebDorado installed.
    After the latest php update the gallery stopped functioning. It only shows the code.

    I try to activate and get Fatal Error.
    and when I go to add new plugin – it is already installed, so all I can do is Activate, which gives the same Fatal Error.

    ERROR THROWN
    Call to undefined function create_function()

    How can I get this plugin to work again?
    It is used on many pages of this website.
