Getting this error when visiting the stories dashboard on the latest version i.e., 1.28.0

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Return value of Google\Web_Stories\REST_API\Stories_Users_Controller::user_posts_count_public() must be of the type string, int returned in /home/nginx/domains/domain.com/public/wp-content/plugins/web-stories/includes/REST_API/Stories_Users_Controller.php:176

Rolling back to 1.27.0 fixes the issue.

Hi, this error is still there on the sites. I had to revert to 1.27 version on most of the sites I handle to keep them working.

We’re currently preparing to publish our next release, shouldn’t be much longer. Thanks for your patience.
