• Hi there,
I had the plugin installed for a few day, didn’t even set it up, then deactivated and deleted it from my plugin folder. But still GTmetrix shows me 12 instances of Clarity slowing down my site. That’s a lot for a deleted plugin, given that there should be none. How do I get rid of those?
    Thanks!

@farlif , Thanks for using Clarity. Clarity script from Clarity(eqgfl88sug) project is til embedded on your website https://aufatmen.me.

Clarity collect calls are XHR calls and do not extend the load time of pages. We believe this to be an issue in the GTMetrix reports themselves and recommend you too check other performance measurement websites to get a better picture of their website’s performance and the actions they can take to improve their perf

Thank you. That’s exactly the problem. I want to get rid of it. Obviously the plugin has written something into my wordpress files, so that is now still embedded in my site.

Please, how do I get rid of this? Thanks.

@farlif , could you please try by manually removing the Clarity script from your website code?

@farlif , WordPress plugin is not the source of Clarity script on your website. Clarity script is embedded manually on your website.hence plugin is not making your website slow.
