Changing the footnotes 1,2,3 to just ? or *

    Hi @getworkdone ,

    I don’t think there’s a way to do this with CSS, but you can do this by changing each footnote to use a shortcode with the referencenumber attribute, like this:

    [mfn referencenumber=”*”]footnote text[/mfn]
