We have been using Anti Spam by CleanTalk for quite some time and are very happy with your product. Now, for some reason, on this new site we have built for our client, when someone tries submitting information through a form, it is blocked and fails with a “forbidden. message seems to be spam” error message to the user. In CleanTalk, I can see these fails, but before I whitelist anything, I’d like to know why these are being flagged as spam, and if simply hitting “not spam” will solve this problem. Please advise! We’re stuck at the moment. Thanks!

    Hello,

    Please do the following:
WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Set cookies” to “Store data in the website database (alternative mechanism)” —> Save Changes.

    This will improve filtering.

    After it, please check again.

If this doesn’t help, please contact us via our private Ticket System: https://cleantalk.org/my/support/open

Thank you for this! It does seem to have resolved my issue here. I will do s few more tests, but I think I’m good, and I will only get back to you if for some reason there is still an issue. It worked like it was supposed to just now. Thank you for the quick response!
