Hi @angudy,
Thanks for getting in touch. So we can we ensure you are able to complete Site Kit set up successfully please share the following:
- Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.??
- At what stage does this occur? For example is this consistently appearing after clicking on a button during set up?
- When checking the Site Kit dashboard from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur?
Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
it hapened when i try to reinstall the plugin after make a migration of all thme and database.
it same thing when i try to open dashboard on incognito mode
i allready sent the info via your form
I’m getting the same thing on multiple sites and still remains after today’s update – happening with PHP 7.4
Same error over here since update this afternoon.
I have same problems with all of my installations (php 8.0 and 8.1). I think its a connection problem, because another plugin that uses Analytics data shows no data too.
Thanks for the update @angudy.
As your Site Kit connected status displays as not connected, and you migrated your database, please perform a plugin reset (Tools > Available Tools > Reset Site Kit), which will reset all your site records on the Site Kit service. After doing so set up the plugin once more and share whether you encounter the same error. If so we’re perform some checks to try and determine the cause, using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
Appreciate the input also @ralfreymann, @loftlamp & @sflwa. As we haven’t determined the exact cause at this time, can you open an individual support topic and share your Site Health information? I can then check/re-create your own environments and check for common plugins, in particular Analytics type plugins.
You may also wish to try determine a particular plugin conflict, using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. I’ll keep an eye out for your topics. Thank you!
thx @jamesosborne
but after i click reset button it show the same message error again
Thanks for checking @angudy. Can you share where you’re seeing this error, or provide a screenshot or screen recording of this experience? I can then check this with the team or review further. You can use a service such as Imgur to share a screenshot, or Loom or RecordIt to share a recording.
?@ralfreymann,?@loftlamp?&?@sflwa, we’ve determine the cause in the case of this error appearing within the main WordPress dashboard (and not the Site Kit dashboard). Many thanks for sharing your insights. More details here. We’ll have a fix out for this soon.?
helo you can see it in this video

Many thanks for sharing this recording @angudy. This is very useful to see what’s occurring. As I suspect a JavaScript conflict please perform the steps below and share whether you encounter the same:
- Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
- Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
- Attempt to setup Site Kit once more or check for the same error.
If the same error occurs, resulting in you not being able to set up Site Kit, please share any browser console errors that appear on the same screen with the error.
Thank you @angudy! Based on the latest video the error doesn’t occur while in troubleshooting mode. The next step is to pinpoint the conflicting plugin.
Firstly, can you temporarily deactivate your LiteSpeed cache plugin before checking the Site Kit dashboard once more? If the same error no longer appears on the Site Kit dashboard with Litespeed cache temporarily deactivated we can then check your configurations.
helo @jamesosborne , I did disable litespeed and all plugin to check one by one, but the error still appears.
Thanks for the update @angudy. In that case the conflict you’re encountering may not be related to a Litespeed cache configuration. Rather than asking you to deactivate each plugin and checking once more, please perform the steps below to determine the conflicting plugin:
- Login to your live site from a Chrome browser?incognito window once more.
- Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
- From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
- Confirm that the error no longer occurs once more (as per your previous recording)
- Enable your other plugins in troubleshooting mode one by one, while checking the Site Kit dashboard each time in between. At the stage where you encounter the error please share what plugin you last enabled. I can then check for configurations that may have caused this error.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
Hi @angudy,
I’m just following up with you to check whether you’ve had time to potentially determine what plugin may be causing this conflict? Let me know if you have any questions with the above.
