“Entry Status” not selectable for approval workflows

  • I was looking at your tutorial on approval workflows.

    First, it doesn’t look like the “Entry Status” option is selectable on the “conditions” panel in the email section.

    Second, even if it were, the “Link” option that you use in the example workflow isn’t present on the toolbar.

    The ??on that toolbar only lets me choose regular web links with the only option to select “new tab” or “same tab.”

    Third, (and this might be related to #1), but even if I could create an admin panel, it’s unclear how I can update the “Entry Status” from “Awaiting approval” to “Complete.” There doesn’t seem to be an input option to make that adjustment. Nor does there seem to be a way to do that directly from the admin screens.

    Bringing this one back to the top.

    The approval workflow email part still remains an issue. There’s no option to pick the entry status in the conditions and there’s no way to link the approval workflow in the email.

    For those wanting to do the other portions, you can change the “Entry Status” on the entries page by clicking the little ??</img> next to the status on the “Edit” screen. And then click the ??</img> button (but see the Error issue on another topic)
