    Hi everybody,

I have a client who wants me to customize the header and footer for the WordPress site I’m developing for them.

The best way to do this is with Elementor, I guess, and I downloaded the Elementor Header/Footer designer, got a header created, but how do I insert it in website? The rest of the website is done in the Gutenberg Blocks and when I switched to Elementor for those pages it messed everything up; so I’d rather leave them in Blocks.

Every option I’ve researched so far involves paying for Elementor Pro, which I’d rather not have my client do just for the header and footer. Is there a way to avoid it?

    Thanks,
    Sarah B.

  • Hi Sarah,

Thank you for getting in touch! Please accept our sincere apologies for the late reply.

By looking at your query, it seems you are facing an issue in getting the exact difference in between the products on our site.

Let me give you a detailed explanation of the theme and plugins that we provide along with their separate specialties:
Just to let you know, the Astra theme lets you manage global settings like the Color, Typography, Layout, etc. on your website. But the page builders help you design and build pages with the content you need on your website.

But, this is again your choice! You can build websites using Astra and Gutenberg too (without any other page builder).

We have website demos built with Elementor, Beaver Builder and Gutenberg. You can pick the page builder you wish to use and import a demo built with that.

Since the pages within the demo are built with the specified page builder, they can be edited only with that specific page builder. However, you can use another page builder or even Gutenberg to build and design new pages in addition to those that are already present.

Here is the difference between the Ultimate Addons for Elementor and Elementor Pro:

    • Elementor is a free page builder, and Elementor Pro is their paid addon. You get premium features in Elementor Pro like theme builder, popups, dynamic conditions, etc.
    • Whereas, Ultimate Addons for Elementor is an addon plugin from Brainstorm Force that adds advanced widgets for enhancing the possibilities with Elementor free version and Elementor Pro.
    • With Ultimate Addons for Elementor, you get access to some of the most popular widgets like Video gallery, Hotspots, Modal Popup, Timeline, Cross-site Copy Paste and so on. You can also add social media content on your website with a Twitter feed, Instagram Feed, and Business review widgets. Furthermore, UAE provides Presets, display conditions for sections, Particles effect, Party propz widgets and extensions, schema supported widgets, etc. which are not available in Elementor Pro.
    • Elementor provides a very limited design options in their widgets. UAE makes it fully customizable and comes with a lot of design possibilities for E.g. UAE Posts widget

Both UAE and Elementor Pro might have similar settings in some widgets, but the above fast website building features are not available in the Elementor Pro plugin.

    • There might be a few widgets that seem to be present in the Ultimate Addons for Elementor and Elementor Pro, but these are quite optimized with better code that makes them load faster and they come with several styling options that Elementor misses.

You can take a look at the website to know more about our wide range of unique and popular widgets – https://uaelementor.com

Please feel free to let us know if you have any further queries.

    Hope this helps ??

    Thank you,
    Umar
