wordpress pages redirect to homepage

  • hello all,

    I am having an issue on the wordpress site where the pages and posts redirect to the homepage. This issue is a result of the permalinks and when I refresh the cache, the issue is fixed for about a week. And then I need to do it again.

    I want to solve this issue so that I will not have to refresh tye cache each time. What could be causing my permalinks to redirect to the homepage?

  • It worked fine for me. Remember that caching works differently when you are logged in as Admin.

    When I am testing something like this, I hit Ctrl-Shift-N to open a new Anonymous browser window so no cookies or local caching or Admin status are involved.

    Hello thank you for your reply.

    The issue is noticed by regular visitors of our site. From first time visitors to repeat visitors. I do not think that it is an issue with who is logged in.
