-2 in my url

  • I tried to removed the -2 in my url but cant remove it still appearing. There is no duplicating page of local moving but still persist. there are some pages that has an issue about it. I hope you can help me with this issue, thanks

    Hi @gatdulazee,

    You can edit the permalink however, You have to give the new URL slug for the duplicated pages to remove the -2 from the URL because its a WordPress functionality. In WordPress pages are not allowed to give the same URL when it is already there.

    Hi @gatdulazee,

    We understand that you have been facing issue in editing the permalink slug. In WordPress pages are not allowed to give the same URL when they are already there so by default when a post or page is duplicated it will get a new slug in numbers.
