Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This which will force the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue.

    Thanks, James.
Unfortunately, I tried both your suggestions with out luck. The option_value field under active_plugins was already a:0:{}.
Through my Cpanel, I renamed the folder “plugins.hold” and created a new folder named “plugins.” But I ran a crupper when I tried to login to the Word Press Administrative menus. I typed in https://domain-name.com/wp-admin and got the blank page again. Is there some other place where I am supposed to login to the WordPress Administrative menus?

No, that’s where you’re supposed to login.

Did you try forcing Twenty Ten to activate by renaming your current theme as outlined above?

If that didn’t work, try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of the /wp-admin/ and /wp-includes/ directories with fresh copies from the download.

I’m not really trying to be difficult but I did everything you told me to the best of may (apparently lacking) ability. I renamed the twentyten theme everything but “Fred”. I’ve downloaded 3.0.1 four times now. I’m still getting a blank admin screen. I had so much trouble getting WP installed on my site and now that it’s there, I can’t do anything with it. Arghhh!

Have you tried a manual installation instead of Fantastico?
