Not receiving emails from wpforms and woocomerce

Hello! i have created my wordpress page succesfully, but when i complete the contact forms or i buy something from my shop to test, i never receive an email, both wpforms and woocomerce are configured to receive those emails on my personal email for testing.
On wp smtp plugin i receive this message:

Mailer: Default (none)
PHPMailer was able to connect to SMTP server but failed while trying to send an email.

i have no idea how to setup the plugin, i tried with sendinblue but when i added the dns it requested it could never verify them so it ended with mismatches and it confuses me a bit. any help would be appreciated
