Apple Mail not Displaying Images in Post Notifications

Is this a new change? Did something on the site change that might have caused it? Is there any other insight into what might have happened before you noticed this?

Hello I did have a malware problem a year ago and had the site cleaned by Fiverr. He did a great job and installed Wordfence. Six months before that I had Fiverr work on the site for speed and he installed Cloudfare. I think the problem started all during that time. I have been viewing the Mailpoet notifications in gmail and didn’t see that everyone checking post notification on their iphones were viewing question marks.

Oh should add that I contacted Bluehost and they saw no problem on their end and I disabled Wordfence and Cloudfare temporarily to run a test. That didn’t resolve the problem.

Thanks for the background info. Both of those things (cloudflare and wordfence) can have impacts on the site and images.

A lot of times this can happen with Cloudflare, as they try to host the images on their CDN and that can mess with loading of images.

When you tested with Cloudflare disabled, how did you do the test? Did you disable the plugin? Was the test done on an existing email? I’d like to narrow this down a bit more, as those seem very much like the obvious “culprit”.

I still am having the same issues. I have changed my SSL organization certificate from Let’s Encrypt. A recommendation from Mailpoet. Contacted Bluehost my server to double check settings. Contacted Wordfence and Cloudflare to double check settings. Turned off all plugins and tested that. Nothing has resolved the problem.
