Thanks for taking out time and informing about the vulnerability, but I think you created the ticket for the wrong plugin. The one mentioned in the CVE report is https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/widget-shortcode/ and not this plugin.

I would be happy to resolve any vulnerability that is found in this plugin.
