Order number still using woocommerce Order ID

I have the same issue since the latest update, a few new order numbers have come in out of sequence.

Kindly make sure that you are not using any custom code snippet or any other third-party plugin to alter the default WooCommerce order number. If the issue persists, kindly get back to us by sharing your WooCommerce system status report (WooCommerce>status>system status report) to have a better understanding.

To chime in on this thread with an observation. I reported an issue on my site where orders were picking up the WP postID rather than the custom value I had defined. (See support ticket 52412 I submitted via your contact form).

I went back to work on this a bit more yesterday and, without my changing anything, the order came through with the custom ID. My custom format includes the date and whilst searching this forum I found the code snippet you reference that resets the install and start dates for the plug-in. My suspicion is that the custom format won’t work on the same day as the plug-in is installed but only from the next day; maybe there’s a test that is using a > condition rather than >=?
