SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.

    We have been using this plugin successfully for a number of years across a number of domains. Starting last night we could no longer deliver emails on these sites due to a

    *** SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host. ***

    Is there any way to get more info as to what is causing this?

    Thanks for reaching out to us and we’re sorry to hear that you’re suddenly having issues sending emails.

    This error indicates that your server refused the connection.

    You’ll need to contact your hosting/SMTP provider to look into a potential server configuration issue or to see if anything is blocking it (Firewall/ModSecurity).

    Alternatively, you could also try using a different SMTP service (for example SendLayer?or?Seninblue) to see if this issue is specific to your current SMTP service or if it’s a server-specific issue.
