Difference between “Credit Card” and “Advanced Card Processing” method
-
Hello, I’m working with WooCommerce 7.3.0 and “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” 2.0.1 plugin
I see there are two payments methods in the Settings page:
- “PayPal” with description “Accept PayPal, Pay Later and alternative payment types.”
- “Advanced Card Processing” with description “Accept debit and credit cards, and local payment methods with PayPal’s latest solution.”
Both of them are provided by the PayPal plugin.
If I deselect the second method, I still see the possibility to pay with Credit or Debit card when the user selects the PayPal method at checkout:
While If I activate also the second method, I see an additional option for the user:
So..at the end… why should I keep both the methods since both of them lets credit card processing? Why is the second useful? Thanks
