(beta!) from WordPress to InDesign
-
Hello,
I write from Italy. I’d like to share with the WP community the result of a small project we did this summer: a free automatic pagination service from WordPress to InDesign.There are still some limitations, but the first version is working:
- it reads XML from the default RSS feed of WordPress;
- through InDesign script it paginates the WordPress post in a document;
- it saves the document both in .pdf and InDesign format, available to download.
Some of the limitations include:
- “cut&pasted” content from other application may insert unnecessary carriage return. Cut&past from Microsoft Word see to work fine, as the normal text insertion from WordPress.
- Images are managed only if they are the first element of the post and the file name is exactly 8 characters long ??
We are working to expand these functionalities.
The service is free and still in Beta phase. We are looking for people interested in testing the application, someone who could take advantage of our free service. We offer free support and customization. If you are interested and you’d like to use the free WordPress-to-InDesign service, feel free to contact us at [email protected]
Best Regards from Italy
Luca R.
