    Hi @manu87,

Can you please send a screenshot of the plugins metabox on the post edit page, and the post edit page in its entirety?

Have you tried re-authenticating the plugin again, by going through the connection process again i.e. the first tab?

Have you tried sharing another post to see if that works?

    Thanks,

    Thread Starter manu87

    Hi @northernbeacheswebsites,
yes I have re-authenticated. Yes I have tried with several posts.

Have you tried sharing a different custom share message like: “Testing share to Google My Business” instead of just the post title.

What is the title of your post?

Does your website or link have prohibitive content?

    Thanks,

    (@manu87)

    custome share message was fine.
    No prohibitive content.
    The titles are:

Low Carb Abendessen: Einfache Rezepte zum Erreichen deiner Gesundheitsziele

Rohasche im Katzenfutter: Welche Vor- und Nachteile hat es?

When you said Custom Share Message was fine, do you mean that it shared to Google ok?

    Thanks,

    (@manu87)

    Yes it shares to Google

So that means that there’s something up with the share message you used? You said the test message “Testing share to Google My Business” worked ok, but when trying to share your post title/link it didn’t work? It probably means Google doesn’t like the content. I have seen this from time to time.

No, because I could post them manually on google my business.

Just because you can post them manually it doesn’t mean that it will be allowed to be posted via the API as the API has different security measures in place. Thank you,

    (@manu87)

Sir, that makes no sense, I am a SoftwareDeveloper, why should has an API different rules than manually rules??

    (@manu87)

I also tested it with the same title over “post now” over your plugin, and it posted it well, so something is wrong with the “share now” at the posts. please check it.

@northernbeacheswebsites are you checking the issue?

    Hi @manu87,

Because when a post is made manually directly on their system, it doesn’t go through their own API. API’s have a whole range of additional security measures which are often stricter than the applications themselves.

You need to also make sure that before clicking the share now button that on the metabox on the edit page that a profile is activated.

I would also like to recommend to you the pro version of the plugin: AutoSocial: https://northernbeacheswebsites.com.au/autosocial/ and I can provide more priority email support and also investigate issues with your specific posts which I don’t offer via this support forum.

    Thank you,

    Hi @northernbeacheswebsites ,

thank you, but the issue happens since an update of your plugin. I have checked it directly at the post and there is the same error. I don’t need a proVersion of a plugin with errors or which don’t work since an update.

    Hi @manu87,

I have tested the functionality on my end and I didn’t run into any issues by clicking the Share Now link from the all posts page. I am not getting any other reports of the share now functionality not working. You will need to check the share message template and the associated content that relates to the share message template and experiment with it and see what works and what doesn’t to help identify the issue. Please also check through the plugin settings and make sure nothing is checked which would prevent sharing (particularly options on the Sharing Options tab and the Additional Options tab.

You can also download and use old versions of the plugin from this page here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-google-my-business-auto-publish/advanced/ (Please select a specific version to download.).

If you would like further help regarding the specific post on your site, I recommend the pro version as I said before. Thank you.
