Record Submission Not Working

Hi guys, first time using NF in earnest. I’m on the verge of buying a licence for multi-step and conditional add-ons, but just trying the free version first.

I set up a new form, under the ‘Emails & Actions’, the ‘Record Submission’ is selected. Nothing is getting stored though?

I tried enabling the ‘legacy mode’, that still didn’t retrieve the test. I trashed the first form, started over, but still no saving.

In addition, the ‘clear form’ and ‘hide form’ on successful completion are both ticked. It displays the success message, suggesting my tests went through okay, but the form neither clears nor hides.

Couple of questions:

1) I’m signed in as I’m testing, is there an option I’ve missed whereby admin submissions aren’t saved?

2) I’m developing on a local install, emails won’t send, could this be the problem? i.e. if the email fails, does the ‘save submission’ fail?

3) I have ‘dev mode’ enabled to see field labels. Could this be stopping submission storage?

Any pointers would be appreciated – I want to use this, and pro, but it’s seeming buggy at the minute.
