Recipe cpt

Our plugin creates a new Custom Post Type called “Recipe,” and you insert recipes anywhere you want using a Gutenberg block or a shortcode.

Ok so this what I understand there is no recipe cpt container it has to use a page or a post to contain the recipe? I am I understanding right?
