    Hi,

Great plugin and I doubt my website would be as good without it. However, I have noticed a couple of minor bugs in the latest update. Not a problem but felt I should report it.

    1. Word count mismatch between edit page text (bottom info line) and the SEO analysis
    2. It is near impossible to edit text when you click “Highlight this in the text” (The little eye). Because the cursor jumps around the screen when editing after clicking little eye.

Another point, not a bug, but an observation. Sometimes it is impossible to get to 300 words (text length) for a product item, but Yoast flags this with a red dot. Is there any way to not rate the page analysis down with this?

    Thanks, Tracy

    Hello Tracy,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. We have addressed your concerns below:

    Word count mismatch
Please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing. You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

    Eye Marker feature
In Yoast SEO v20.1, a bug was fixed where the highlighting feature in the Classic editor would not work when inline HTML tags were present. And currently, our developers are working on a fix for an issue relating to what you have reported. See here. Can you confirm if you’re using the Classic Editor pugin?

    Content Analysis
It’s understandable if your product description is not up to 300 words. The content analysis tool is a helpful tool that can help you improve your content; these are general guidelines, not strict rules that will hurt your ranking. Most importantly, you write your content in a way that reads nicely for your visitors. So, it’s okay not to get a green bullet. We don’t get all green bullets either for Yoast.com ?? Also, you can read the experience of Yoast CEO Marieke in this post,?The temptation of the green bullet. You can read more about using the readability analysis?in this article.
