    No of course not!

    Where you put it depends on what theme you are using, and where in the theme you want it to show up.

    If you want it in the header, you need to edit the header file and add the template tag. There is a widget you can use in the sidebar, and a shortcode for adding it to a post or page’s content.

    If you can tell me what BuddyPress theme you are using and where you would like to add the slideshow, I can point you in the right direction.
