    Hi,

just installed this plugin now. I’ve created a Twitter Application as required and it gives me a PIN code to enter “in the application”. For me the application is the TweetUpdater plugin’s config menu but I can’t see any place to enter the PIN code there. I guess it should be just above the “Autorize” button in the page that comes after having pressed the “Inscription” button but I see nothing. When I go to twitter to browse the application page or its settings page, I can’t see where to put this PIN code too. Not in plugin’s config menus ? Not in the Twitter.com application menus ?
So finally… where exactly do I have to put this code ? apart of this problem, this plugin looks promising. Surely waiting for some support to work fine ??

Thanks in advance for your help.

Or do you know a good alternative that would work with version 3.0.1 of WordPress ?

If you want to use your own Twitter API codes, set the application type as “Browser”.

You should also set a callback URL: The place twitter will send you after activating. Use https://your.site/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=TweetUpdater to return you to the settings page.

If your application type is set to “Client”, you get a pin code to authenticate. This method is suggested for use with mobile/desktop programs, so TweetUpdater doesn’t use it.
