Woocommer new update 7.4.0 issue with product manage stock, stock quality limit

    Hello,

    With recent woocommerce update 7.4.0 there is a issue with Product Manage Stock for stock quantity. Where quantity is no more restricted base on this setting and customers are able to select n numbers of quantity.

    We have testing with other plugins conflicts and didnt find any issue. And when we roll back the woocommerce udpate back to 7.3.0 this issues resolved.

    Please suggest how we can fix this issue in new update.

  • Hey i have the same problem, there is only 1 item on stock and the backorder “is not allowed”, but it allow customer to select n numbers of quantity.
    After add to cart it says:
    This quantity of “productname” cannot be added to the cart because there is not enough stock (1 left).

    This happened after i update to 7.4.0

    Please could you clarify if this only occurs when increasing the quantity of variable products?

    I confirm this is happens only in variable products.

    Hello @georgen1,

    I was able to reproduce this on my test site as well. A pull request was submitted it for this, hopefully, it will be pushed in WooCommerce version 7.5.0.

    there is any temporary code to fix this until the new version release?

    I have not read any temporary solution for this bug, but you could enable the Sold individually option under Products > Inventory
