So I’ve read the other posts on this, and I’m stuck further down the road. I upgraded from 1.2 to 1.5 following the instructions supplied (which did not tell me to turn off plugins — fix submitted), and then got the error many others have complained of.

Making the (array) fix suggested elsewhere fixed the error messages that were cropping up everywhere else, but now when I head to the plugins page, I get

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/virtual/site67/fst/var/www/html/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 32

at the top, and then in the plugin management page, I get three of these.

Warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/virtual/site67/fst/var/www/html/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 77

Activating a plugin, as others have suggested, doesn’t work:

Warning: in_array(): Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/virtual/site67/fst/var/www/html/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 9

Fatal error: [] operator not supported for strings in /home/virtual/site67/fst/var/www/html/wp-admin/plugins.php on line 10

I’m stuck. I can’t seem to get any plugins working now, and I’m getting pretty frustrated. Help would be appreciated.

  • Try do activate the recent plugins, ignore the error messages an deactivate the plugins again, that worked for me.
