Product category order

I understand that you want to arrange the sorting of product categories under the Products menu, correct?

As you can see for some products MERCH category go first – for some last. I wouldn’t mind about it but that affects on my shipping, because only first category counts.

I tried make MERCH Primary category: https://ibb.co/DfrHFhB but these settings make no sense. I tried to edit products, rearrange categories and even delete all categories and create again. Nothing helps. They take the same place again and again.

Because this is the default behavior of product categories. Regardless of whether it is a parent category or a child category, they are listed alphabetically here.

Out-of-the-box, this could be achieved thru customization, but it is outside our scope of support, hence, I am leaving this thread open for a bit to see if anyone can chime in to help you out.
