    Hello All

I am looking for some advise on this please.
I have two websites (one Live, and one Testing) – in essence, I been using Testing to do any testing before then applying it over to the live environment.

Both websites are on same MyPHP but use different DB instances.
Now, I have come to conclusion that the websites do not look similar any longer and what I want to do is – to make the Test Website look the same as the Live Website, thus also to include the content & theme design & feel and look.

    Please advise

  • Hi Bucki,

You can use a “import/export plugin” to migrate your “Testing” site to a live server.

    Hello Widly

It is the reverse, the Live to Testing.
This is to bring both on same level in terms of content (not as much) but rather colour / styling / design.

Question: does this tool move the content as well as the theme & design & styling from A to B?

besides, will I need to apply same pluggins separately? or will that tool do everything what is on A copy over to B? Of course, not touching the WP login settings & DB settings. It is just content, posts / sites / pages.

Thinking about it, the live has a different account who has been making posts and on testing it been a test account. hmmmm getting complicated!

    Yes. It will.
Please note that the “import/export plugin” I mentioned above is a category of plugins, not one in particular. Pick whatever suits you best.

Can you please suggest the one that is safe and suitable?
