Unknown file in wordpress core:

    I got a high level issue after my last scan with regards to an unknown file in wordpress core – wp-admin/php.ini. Should I delete this file to solve the problem or is it an essential file. Thanks in advance for your guidance.

    Hi @morcosa

    php.ini is a crucial file and is very important, it should not be deleted.

    What I recommend is to back up the file, then revert it to its previous version and see what happens.

    If anything goes wrong, you will have your backup to restore.
