Can’t get demo content ‘activated’

Theme is installed and activated.

The documentation says to create a new Page (although the first screenshot shows creating a Post) – selected the correct Template – done.

Settings – Reading, set to display Home page – done. However, the documentation says “When you’re finished, you’ll be able to see all of the demo content on the front page.“

But there’s nothing new… any steps missing in the documentation, or was it for an older version of WordPress? I’m on 6.2, brand new site.
