    Hi there,

    I installed and axctivated the Qi theme in my wordpress and am trying to import the Web Studio free demo using the One-Click Demo Import Feature using the Qode Essential Addon method. I have followed the steps listed in the How To Import Demo Content Using The One-Click Demo Import Feature (Bridge Versions 18 And Older) page of the Qode Help Center but unfortunately the import gets stuck at 5% and doesn’t proceed.

    I have checked the php.ini file with my hosting provider and it the values are even higher than the ones suggested in the Help Center. I have installed and activated only the plugins required by the theme and am running WordPress 6.1.1

    I am attaching a screenshot of the page and the import stuck at 5%. What could be the cause of such error?

    Hello,

    We recommend following instructions from this article here.
    Also, if you are perhaps using some cache plugin, please deactivate it. It’s recommended that the cache plugin stays deactivated during demo import and while the site is still in the development stage.

    I have this issue as well. Stops every time at 8%. I do not have any active plugins other than the plugins required for the demo. I followed the directions in the linked article. I’ve submitted two support tickets. I purchased the premium version. I have not had any response from my tickets.

    You need to import it without the attachments. I don’t know why but you can import the whole demo but if you try including the attachments it doesn’t work.

    That actually worked, partially. Theres quite a lot of missing content. They should hire you for customer service.

    ahah it took me a while and many back and forth with the tech support from my hosting service to figure it out. Still haven’t managed to understand why though… Not a big deal as all the images eventually needed to be replaced anyway in my case.

    Hi there,

    For the import of the QI demo you should always try contacting your hosting provider as this is more server related. Please ask your hosting provider is ‘allow_url_fopen’ can be enabled on their server.

    We do not know if this has been already made, but it should help with the process of importing the complete demo.
