Cannot delete file from not registered image size

  • I do have many unused image with size shop_single and shop_catalog but when I try to delete with command wp sirsc cleanup 1 shop_single –v I get error because those image size are not registered anymore.

    Error: Please specify the image size name (one of: thumbnail, medium, medium_large, large, 1536x1536, 2048x2048, smallgrid, minithumb, mediumgrid, large_inner, post-thumbnail).

    The command helper only shows the registered sizes from the project. However, the command accepts any image size you pass, even if that is no longer registered. You can use the --force flag to clean up the metadata. Let me know if this worked.
