How to Change the theme on a blog

  • I’m very new at this. I have used the ‘search’ but cannot find an exact answer.

    I want to change the theme I am using to one which has more widgets. Is the change-over straight forward? I am using Twenty-Ten at the moment.

  • All you need to do is install a new theme and activate it…

    In your dashboard you can go to Appearance -> Themes -> search for the theme you want and install it, or if you have downloaded the theme to your computer you can upload it (must be a .zip file) in the same location.

    Yes, thank you very much. I’ll try that tomorrow. I’ve been a bit nervous about trying it in case it messed up the present blog.

    Your reply came into my inbox late last night. I started watching the video but thought it would be better to watch it this mmorning.
    This morning the site won’t let me watch it.

    Now that I’ve visited and read a bit more about the site, I must again thank you for suggesting I go there to watch – it is probably your own work.

    I don’t make videos – is the only way to watch it – to join?
