    Hi there,
Are you still receiving the fatal error?

I had the same fatal. I fixed it by force reinstalling via wp-cli (but if you don’t have that, disable the plugin, delete it, reinstall it, should work).

Same issue here – it took the site down so I deactivated the plugin to bring the site back.

Now I’m trying to figure out how to fix it properly. I don’t understand “force reinstalling it via wp-cli”. If I delete the plugin do I lose all the setting and data???

I’m also seeing similar errors on at least two sites that have upgraded to 8.13.0. Issue appears to resolve if I log in to admin area.

I also have several sites down this morning because of the automatic Monster Insights update. I’m having to manually go in via FTP and delete the plugin, reinstall and then disconnect/reconnect. Is there a better workaround here? I have 100’s of sites with your plugin.

I have the same issue, and we have to pro version. It has been updated automatically at midnight, and the site went down for a long time, it’s really disappointing. We disabled the plugin till then, waiting for a fix..

    Hi there,
Google has had an API outage with one of their APIs that our plugin uses. It’s incredibly rare for one of their API routes to go down, for context this route hasn’t gone down in many years (7+), and unfortunately was overlooked in our plugin’s handling of it. The API is now back up for most people so most people should be unaffected at this point, though it is still intermittently failing for some.

We will have an update out within the next hour to fix this permanently for all users.
