Recurring Payment Users Does not expire membership access

We are currently having an issue with some of our members not receiving their emails for renewal payments (many of which are on auto-renew). When they login to their account, they are still memberss of a certain role even though their subsrciption ended and they haven’t renewed yet. They also don’t have any options to send payment once they are logged in even if their subscription has not yet been renewed.
