Hello, I manage several sites and have additional users facing the same issue. When 2FA is enabled and “remember for 30 days” is checked, I log in the next day and have to add a WordFence code. This is becoming a cumbersome problem and it’s an issue on several sites.

Hi @drewdrewchristophercom, thanks for reaching out to us.

Whilst this is reportedly happening for multiple users, probably with a combination of browsers and settings, it does sound like cookies and/or session data is being cleared – which is a setting that may be enabled on closure in some cases.

Are you able to replicate the problem in a different browser to your default choice? If so, it may also be worth checking whether your device is remembered when Wordfence is the only enabled plugin to eliminate the possibility of a plugin conflict as the cause.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Thanks for your response. I’ve set up a sandbox site, deactivated all plugins but WF. I’ll be logging in periodically to see if it’s WF or another plugin used across the affected sites.

So after deactivating all plugins except for WordFence, I login to the test site and it’s asking for the for the 2FA Code for both Chrome and MS Edge. This is happening after checking “remember for 30 days.” And I did not clear the cache, etc. It seems to be a direct issue with the WF plugin.
