• Hi everyone.

Just wondering if anyone would be able to help me.

I am using wordpress 3.0.1 and using the latest suffusion theme.

my WP is https://www.seftonchamber.com, and if you look in the whats happening widget and click on a post, theres too much spacing after the paragraphs before the pictures. this seems to be a generic problem on all pages after changing my theme.

My website requires minimal scrolling so this is wasting too much space.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    regards,

  • I looked at the ‘Crowning Achievement …’ post. There is a paragraph with
in it just before the picture.

After the picture, there is a paragraph with this:

    thanks for your reply.

would you suppose this is because I type the post with paragraphs set?

    Much appreciated

Sorry, I don’t know how the paragraphs got there.

Ok – thankyou for your help anyway!

You could try using the html mode of the editor to remove the paragraphs, but beware – don’t switch back to visal mode because the editor sometimes messes up a post when you do that.

Thanks again! I will try this when I make my next post, I will follow with an update of progress.

Hi. this isn’t really practical for me, as my posts and pages are frequently being updated… does anyone have any more suggestions?

Depending on the role(s) of the persons doing the updating, Dean’s FCKEditor Plugin might work. I have found that Administrator has no problems with it, but Editor will not save changes some times.

    Hi vtxyzzy.

What is the roll of the FCKEditor?
Does it just replace the visual editor from WordPress?

I am the only Admin for the website so that’s not a problem.

Yes, it replaces the default editor. IMHO, it is much more like a traditional word processor than the default.

Thanks for that – I’ll give this a try when I get a spare few minutes:D
