I like the Sticky Header option. Could you offer some further customization? Like this:

    Sticky header when scrolling:

    ?? down ? for at least _2000__ [ milliseconds ? ]
with transition: [ fade in ? ] for __500__ milliseconds

    ?? up ? for at least _300_ [ pixels ? ]
with transition: [ slide down ? ] for _500__ milliseconds

We don’t have plans to add these features to theme, however this is possible to make with our Greenshift animation addon and it’s Flip state block. So, you can wrap your header in block, then, configure it to add different effects depending on scroll value

What I sketched here was the maximum configuration possibility. If you have that already elsewhere, in the addon which has detailed scroll control, then users needing that sophisticated extras shall go that route.

But what I like about this your control in the header is, that the preference is exactly where the user would expect it, and its a simple setting.

Currently “Sticky header when scrolling” on or off. What about this instead of currently 2 values (on / off) make it like this:

Sticky header when scrolling: ?? Up ?? Down

That way you can get directional control: None, Only up, Only down, Both.

Are you willing to extend it to this? I personally would set it to:

Sticky header when scrolling: ?? Up ?? Down
