Widget Page basically freezes for 5 minutes

    When I open the widgets page, it freezes entirely. I have to wait a ridiculously long time to click any of the drop-downs. Sometimes as long as 5 minutes. This is frustrating. Is there a fix for this?

    Hi @direktorobi Thanks for using Widget Options. Do you have many pages and users on your website? Do you also have many widgets? Number of widgets and pages is one factor. Good news is we are finalizing a fix for this case and about to release soon.

    Admittedly, yes we do have a lot of widgets and users.

    The version 3.9.3 is up now, which contains the necessary fixes for this particular issue. Since there are lots of widgets and users being loaded on your widget page, the Widget Options team improved how we pull up the data by search on the page visibility feature.

    To ensure a smooth update, it is crucial to first remove the previous version, clear the cache for your website and hosting, and then proceed with the installation and activation of version 3.9.3.
